History of MR POP CORN

«MR POP CORN ΑΒΕΕ» was founded in 1985. At the time of its establishment, its main purpose was to import and introduce in the Greek market fresh popcorn through popcorn manufacturing machines. Then the first import of machines by the USA took place so as the product to be produced in accordance with the “American” style. This was the first time in Greece to station popcorn manufacturing machines locally in the cinemas which were selling until then prepackaged popcorn.

Along to, began the first small scale production of flavored and coloured butter. At that time this was unknown and innovative and caused problems in accepting the products. In order to overcome these initial acceptance problems of products, it was necessary to package it. Year after year consumers started slowly to accept it and seek it.
